I want to know more about the artist(s)?
We offer unique, fun, philosophical, and intriguing artwork and crafts--for the discerning (and playful) collector. From origami and sketchwork, to acrylic, Chinese brush painting, mixed media, and found object art, we hope to offer work that will make you laugh, sigh, and enjoy yourself. There are two artists, really. Ren Adams and Ken Murakami, although our eCrater shop mostly hosts work by Ren. About Ren Adams (that's me!) -------------------------------------- I've been doing artwork my entire life (even scribbled in my own baby book) and for me, it's more than a "hobby" or "job" it's a state of mind and a fulfilling pathway. I can't NOT do it. I simply must. If I'm not drawing, painting, or otherwise expressing myself (however badly), I'm not in harmony with everything around me. Art is a sensation, a sense of humor, a sense of elation, a tantalizing window... it's pure energy, pure thought, and pure darkness, and pure light. I explore themes, people, and places that intrigue me... I'm also a Taoist and a lot of my artwork reflects my spiritual pathway (the art of compassion, simplicity, and patience). I practice Qi Gong meditation and enjoy artists who aren't afraid to be themselves. Also, Ren Adams and An Rui Ning are the same person. That's me. LOL. An Rui Ning is my Chinese name and I use it only for brush painting. "Ren Adams" doesn't look very good carved into a soapstone chop. We do indeed often write product descriptions in the third person--mostly because it feels funny to tout our stuff as "wonderful" or something.

Product Accuracy Policy
All products are carefully described on each product page. We will always tell you if a piece of art is the original work, or an art print/reproduction.

Do you combine shipping on multiple item purchases?
Yes, we do! In fact, the eCrater cart should automatically calculate combined shipping for you, when you purchase more than one item. We can ship multiple items in the same box to save you shipping.

What is your return policy?
We don't have a hard and fast return policy. If you'd like to return an item, please contact us and let us know. We'll discuss it. We cannot accept returns on origami, though, because those little guys are delicate and can't really go back and forth in the mail easily.

Am I buying directly from the artist?
Yes! When you make a purchase through our eCrater shop, you're purchasing original art directly from the artist. :-) The same person who painted, drew, or otherwise masterminded the artwork will also be packing your box!

Do you do custom work?
We do consider custom work. Just ask us: jiang_wei_of_shu2003@yahoo.com

What if my order gets lost in the mail?
If your item or package gets lost in the mail, don't worry--and don't panic. We'll work with you to make sure everything is OK in the end. Please contact us ASAP if you suspect your order hasn't arrived in a decent time frame. We ship most orders out within 24-48 hours. Shipping can take anywhere from 2 - 4 days (on average).

What does "ACEO" stand for?
ACEO stands for = art cards editions & originals. ACEOs are a special breed of small format art. Artists in a variety of media produce these mini masterpieces using all kinds of materials--from pen & ink to acrylics, cloth, metal, and even oil paints. An ACEO must be 3 1/2" x 2 1/2" in size; roughly the size of a standard trading card or baseball card. Because of their nifty dimensions, many art collectors are quite fond of them--amassing huge mini museums of ACEO art. The small size (and affordable price tags) allow for art collecting by almost anyone. Many of our happy customers enjoy placing ACEOs in archival baseball card albums as coffee table books!
